"Time flies", as the saying goes! Only just celebrated our 10th anniversary and now already the fifteenth! The three years of Corona feel like a leap in time where everything has stopped. A time when a noticeable number of providers also disappeared and reoriented. Since the fall of 2022, however, we have noticed an increase in new offerings again and it would be nice if this development continues. Finally, it is also our goal to present our visitors a wide range of tantra and massage services from a variety of masseurs.
So now we start the year 2023 with the 15th anniversary. What started back then as a simple project out of joy for the topic, is now a professional business and the best known massage portal in Switzerland with strong presences in neighboring countries. Of course, this is only possible thanks to our constantly growing number of visitors and advertisers - for this we would like to officially say a big thank you!
Innovations and trends
As a portal, we always try to develop further, to take trends into account and to find innovations. However, one cannot constantly reinvent the wheel and drastic changes, especially in terms of user experience, must be approached with caution. Humans are creatures of habit.
Below are a few topics on which we will focus in the new year:
Transsexuality
The topic of transsexuality has become increasingly accepted and part of visible life in today's society. We see on Massage123 for some time also isolated TS advertisements and we assume that the number will grow. In the directory listings, it has already been possible for some months to set "Transsexual" as the gender for providers as well as the target group. It is intended that visitors can then also filter according to this.
Education and memberships
It is also important to us that we are not perceived as a typical sex portal. Since the boundaries between sexually focused massages and tantric or professional therapeutic massages with an erotic touch are very blurred, it is important for us that the latter are more clearly recognizable. For some time now, we have therefore been able to store certificates and memberships in industry associations for a client, which are then displayed in the directory entry. A corresponding filtering is also planned.
Sexual Bodywork
A trend that also flows into the field of massage is the work as a Sexual Bodyworker. This is a body-based approach with a focus on sexual health. One is guided to get to know one's own body better and to work through fears about one's sexuality. We currently list Sexual Bodywork providers in the "Sexual Therapy/Counseling" category.
